Our #1 Question

How Much Does it Cost to Rent Goats?

Navigating pricing can be tricky, and while we wish there was a simple formula, each project has its own unique aspects. Our typical projects average around $1,200 per acre. While less common, more involved projects can reach up to $2,000 per acre, and in specific situations, we might see prices around $800 or less per acre. Variables that affect pricing include but are not limited to:

  • Size of the project

  • Water access

  • Distance from our farm

  • Length of the project

  • Fencing lanes that need established

  • General site access

  • Grazing programs

Factors That Affect Price

  • Acreage size
More land grazed results in a lower per-acre fee

  • Established fence lanes
A clear 3-foot wide path means we don't need to clear brush or mow before we install electric fencing

  • Seasonal grazing program
    Spring/summer and summer/fall grazes

  • Terrain topography

  • Water access
